Friday Night Funkin is a rhythm game in which the boy (Boyfriend) tries to defeat other guys in a singing contest to date the girl (Girlfriend). You have to listen to the beat of different soundtracks and press the WASD keys at the appropriate moments to gain as many points as you can.

If you are familiar with this kind of music game, you can quickly master it. However, it’s considered to be quite tricky for many newbies. The combination of fast note sequences and colorful imagery was hard to handle.
The gameplay is not very complicated. Just touch the phone screen (if you play on mobile devices) or press the arrow keys/WASD keys (if you play on a PC) to match the music notes floating above the screen in order to keep up with the pace.
